Cassandra Cain is a Imperial Colonial Officer who is the Imperial Commanding Officer (ICO) of the Imperial WarStar IWS Phoenix and Vice Admiral (Fleet Captain) of the Athena Long Range Science/Defense Fleet.

Cassandra Andromeda Cain was born on March 19, 2032 in Caprica City on New Caprica Colony, Mars to parents Martus and Nelena Alexa Cain. Cassandra (nicknamed Cassie by her Parents) was born the sole heiress to the Cain Astronautics Corporation the leading Aeronautics and Defense company in the Empire.
Childhood[]
Cassandra was an adventurous and constantly intellectually curious child fortunately being daughter of one of the richest families in New Caprica allowed her to follow all of her interests. She was the 1st and youngest person to pilot a MK-III Viper all the way to Alpha Centauri and back and on a family trip at the age of 5 was the youngest person to reach the top of Olympus Mons along with her father and his expert climbing team.
As Cassandra grew older her tutors declared her a child genius and prodigy realizing that their child might be the next Einstein and next generation for the future of Cain Industries, Cassandra was sent to a series of private and elite academies throughout the colonies. Each school gave Cassandra one more intellectually stimulating venue each greater than the one before the last.
