The Battlstar Renown is briefly mentioned in the story Counter Attack by Robert Sharpe, and features more heavily in the planned Pre-Fall story Courage, Duty, Honour.
History[]
Renown was commanded by Commander Horaitio Hornblower during the final phases of re-equipping the Colonial Fleet from the losses sustained from the Cylon War. A Battlestar of the Wes Imlay class, Renown was crewed by veterans of the war, and had one of the most intellegent officers in command. During her thirty plus years of service, Renown served in many conflicts with terrorist groups and Seperation Army groups.
